Hi All

I rather new to fusion 360 am trying to do a sleadge for my table saw.

What I want to do is to place the bearing so it touches the linear rail as i picture. Cant figure out how to do that also the bearing must be in line there will be bolt and  distances between the bearings.

Hope for some help

Hi @Anonymous,

You can use the Joints to place those bearings in place.

C =  Axis of rail.

D = Centreline of Bearing to Centreline of Rail

Use midplane (equal) between the two bearings

Both Joint discs at the yellow intersection..

Might help....

Put a sketch into your bearing component that contains at least one point (plus whatever is necessary to constrain the desired position of that point) such that the point can be used for a joint location.

Why are you not using the linear bearings made for the rail?
