How to move the 'origin' of a rigid group?

I am searching for a way to manage the 'origin' or 'center' of motion for a rigid group. Is there an in-depth tutorial or set of instructions that I can study to learn how to manage a rigid group.  Actually, any type of group.

What I have here is a table leg and it only seems logical that I want the origin to be at the bottom of the base plate and centered from all sides. it seems the current location is the origin of the workspace I used when creating this  table leg.

@John_C_Hansen - it is not clear what you mean by "origin" here.  A rigid group, itself, does not have an origin at all.  Only components have origins.  If you have a component (i.e. a sub-assembly), then the root component of that sub-assembly does have an origin.  That does seem to be the case for your design.  So, what you probably want to do is move the components of that sub-assembly to line up with the origin of that root component.  I show this in the video below.  Don't forget to Capture Position to lock in that move
