I finished a sketch using a construction plane XY

Now in model I want to move sketch / construction plane in Z direction.

Used command model/modify/move

saying to move sketch entities

It doesn't work

Is there someone who can tell how it should work??

Quick answer is to create a parallel plane in Z direction, new sketch, and project (the required) to the new sketch there.

Either way you can't move the sketch plane of XY, Origin.

Having made a second sketch, Copy Paste will work.

Might help

If you go to the direct environment you can move any entity in the 3 direction (Plane, Canevas and Sketch, etc).

To do so, right click on the browser tree and say "Do not Capture Design History" or Create a Base Feature.

Hope it helps.

Roll back in history prior to the sketch.

Create desired workplane.

Roll forward and right click on the sketch to Redefine Sketch Plane and select the new plane.
