How to Mate two edges

Hi,

I am new in Fusion 360. I want to mate 2 edges together. I used to it in SolidWorks. I selected one edge from 1st part and another from 2nd part and then mated it but in Fusion 360 I can only mate two faces. Sorry for my bad English 🙂

Thx!

Take a look at the Screencast.  The main thing you have to get used to in Fusion 360 it the fact the complete edge is not active for joint placement.  You work with joint origins, plus the joint origins have orientations.  You can add joint origins and points on the model to attach joint origins to.

The joint system in Fusion 360 works differently than the geometric mats in Solid Woks and most other parametric CAD systems.

Be aware of that when creating assemblies.
