How to make these spokes flow together?

Hello, I am trying to figure out how to make these spokes flow together. I have taken the help given to me here a couple weeks ago (much appreciated!) and have come up with the design and shape of the spokes that I was after. However, I am stumped on how to go about filling in the missing gaps so they flow nicely together.

Attached is a screenshot with red arrows indicating the missing areas I need to accomplish and flow together nicely. The dark areas are concave and the light areas are convex.

Attached is the .f3d file if you need to see how I got to this point; hoping I don't have to scrap/abandon everything and redesign. It took a while measuring and getting the exact profiles I was after!

I appreciate any help 🙂

As it was @cekuhnen who suggested this method, maybe he can weigh in 😉

all you need to do is make more 3d blend curves

then loft the 3 areas

finally fill the center top opening with a patch surface

here:

NOTE:

the loft code is in fusion and inventor unable to deal with rail surfaces blending properly so you

have to make a 3d sketch to create 3d rail curves.

but be aware of as you can see in the end of the video that the sketch engine has bugs and you can easily run into issues

You will see the issue of dimension problems happen after I added G2 to the splines and start

adding dimensions at around min 4:10.

Hi,

Ever since your post 2 weeks ago, I've been trying to achieve this, and this is the closest I got, I hope it's good enough

This is a rendered picture, and the file is attached if you want to check the time line and my workflow

If you can't follow the steps in my file, please let me know and I'll make you a screencast

Regards

Saeed

another approach just with G1 because with the crippled and bugged sketch engine it is pointless to work with G2 for 3d sketches
