So I am trying to make this curve where the sketch is on the face on the left follow (perpendicularly) the curve that is already on the part. I would need the same offset over the original curve that is already on the body. I have no idea how to though.
I hope this crude sketch will show what I am trying to convey.

Either a sweep, or a loft.
Sketch the curve on the end face of the object and then sweep the profile created with the sketch along the curved line of the object.
If that doesn't work then create that sam sketch on each end face and loft between the profiles in these sketches using the curved upper edges as the loft rails.
