How to install on my PCs at my school

Hi, I am a teacher at a secondary school. I have installed Fusion 360 on my mac and PC and was trying to get the same installed on my networked PCs in my classroom. However, it won't show each time a new student logs in - Is there a way around this? I don't want to use Inventor as so many of my students own Macs

Hello MrRBall,

Welcome to Fusion 360 community!

I would be happy to assist you. Would you please be able to provide more details about the issue you're facing?

  • Did you install Fusion 360 on Mac or Windows?
  • Is Fusion 360 not available when a new student logs in?
  • Or, does Fusion 360 fails to launch when a new student logs in?

Kindly reply to this post and we'll continue to assist you.

Thank you.

I am having the same issue in my University computer labs.  Fusion 360 only installs for the user that is logged in.  No other users have access.  Is there a workaround for this?

Hi, I am with the edu-license-program and had already contact with the help-/support-section at Autodesk, they friendly directed me here to ask:

How do I provide the students in my class (about 20 students) with the fusion30-software on the MacBook-Laptops, which are stored in a wagon and are managed via jamf, mdm. The Macs run on OS Catalina, no ind. device for each student.

What's best to proceed?
