How to ignore "Component out of date" warning and resave project independent of previous reference models

I am learning as I go and the workflow has not been efficient or done in the right way, but I have the model how I need it to be. The only issue is the warning yellow triangle button saying "1 component is out of date.  Click here to update out-of-date reference".  I want to ignore that warning and resave what I have as a fresh project and break any connection it has to previous references.  Can anyone help me with this?

edit:  I should add that when I click the button to update out of date references, that models get messed up and I am very thankful that I was able to go back with undo.

Try Save as Copy each of the components, then open each file and correct any errors.  Reassemble all in a new file.

I was not able to make your suggestion work, but it inspired a similar solution.  I exported the project as F3Z fusion 360 archive file and uploaded it to a new project folder.  This looks to have done what I wanted.  Thanks for helping.

Additionally, you can left click on the component out of date, and hit break link. This does exactly what is needed.
