how to get lines intersect?

I am trying to make a model of my boat. I have the top view with lines, a side view with ribs and a front view with ribs.

I have aligned the images up, and made sketches of all the ribs and used the move tool to move them to the right X, Y and Z positions. The model looks good, but when I try to use the loft tool,  and use some of the sketches as rails, I get the message the rails dont intersect with the ribs.

How can I get the sketch lines from ie. the X axis to join/intersect with those drawn on Y and Z axis?

Another thing is that When I have created a sheet metal loft on som of the ribs, I cannot use the thicken tool, so I cannot create body's?

This is quite simple.
You make an intersection on the respective frame level.
Connect the points with a spline.

Then compare the spline with the frame.
If it doesn't match, you change the waterline or the frame.
This is an iteration process for which you need “some” patience 🙂

If you plan to rebuild several ships, don't waste your time with the wrong program.

No your link does not have the download option in A360 for me.

File > Export, and attach when able.

Might help...

I hope this file can be opened.

As you can see I have been experimenting a lot.

but I think the example of intersects of @wersy might solve my problem. Probably have to start all over again, but that is fine. All for a good understanding 🙂

I am hoping to draw the keel, then the deck from above, then the horizontal 'water lines', and for the difficult places near the transom the cross sections  as seen from behind. The cross sections I would to use as guide rails for the lofts from waterlin to waterline. I want to make intersects where the ribs/cross sections meet the waterlines.

I hope, some day you will get a better curvature.

Is that an outcome of my drawings?
I'm not entirely sure what you mean by that, but I'll do my best.

This is what you get when you inspect your curviature on a cross section

The curve should look as smooth as in the preview.

There is another tool that tells you how dented the surface is.

And as you can see, the hull from waterlines are far off the frames.
