Hi,
In this case, you can easily make a required plane on the top surface with an angle >> make some required sketch >>loft the sketch to the top of the body.
If you have any query left, feel free to submit.
Thank you

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Here is my f3d file. I hope you can teach me how to make skewed planes/surfaces.

I am having trouble recreating the sketch that I have in 3D because of the presence of the skewed surfaces on the back segment of the sketch.

in design mode you can create construction planes that you then select to sketch on.

you will find it under the construct tab.............make a plane then start a sketch on it. 🙂

What is the purpose of Sketches 1-6, 8 & 12?

Where are you sketch dimensions?

Is this a school assignment?

Notice that all lines are black (fully defined), no blue lines.

I have a query.

Can you Attach the *.f3d file (or at least an image) of your solution?

@jkajiyama

It looks like @shahriarsifat1802164  and @johnptc314159 have left.

See the Attached file.

Use caution and examine carefully as I am not sure my "solution" is correct.

If it isn't - I am sure the others will pipe in.

I was not able to complete the model to accord with the 3 views,

but my most logical version ended up with the same top quarter view as yours.

Your model would create a solid line in the top view that does not exist, and

both of us do not address a hidden line in the front view.

Take the front view lines from top left, to mid point on the right -

the lower half of that line goes where?

If we delete that hidden line, I can finish the model, with 2 surface panels.

or loft that line to be non planar, and not be in the scheme of things.

I am 5 hours from a desktop to follow up.

I suspect that there are some errors in the provided geometry.

I was hoping the OP would continue the discussion so that we could address these issues.

I think I could do it with some twisted surfaces, but I suspect this was a school assignment with only planar faces.  If it is a school assignment - I will wager that the instructor got it wrong.

Yep, was happy to say nothing when I hit the wall - all planar faces.

Just that one hidden line!!!

I can comply with top quarter view, with the loft and ignore this line.

Hello everyone, sorry for the late response. The solution that worked for me was constructing an angled plane and sketching on it, the sketch will then be lofted on a flat surface directly below it. that process resulted to this 3d model.

While building the model, I realized that something about the reference is not right. This is the reason behind the difficulties while transferring the sketch to fusion360. Either my isometric drawing is incorrect, or the multiview projection given by the instructor is not possible in the first place (and yes, this is a university assignment).

That is my own problem now as it is not included to the scope of my initial question (skewed surfaces), but thank you for everyone that tried and pointed out errors in the material given by my instructor. I'm an absolute beginner in fusion360, thank you for your patience.

Can you ask the instructor to join this discussion?
