How to fill blank space

I often use the solution "select the face and hit the delete" and usually the Fusion 360 computes well what I want and fill it. Unfortunately it does not work  in this case(probably thanks to not straight). I googled it could be done with Boundary Fill tool but it does not work for me. Could you point me the right direction? Thank you!

What exactly do you want to fill?  Take a screenshot and circle (or arrows) in red the area to be filled.

By the way, the rim is not attached very well.

Here you go. Your model is not aligned with the view cube.  You can fix this by right clicking on the view cube and set Top or Front view.  Model is attached.
