How to dimension threads in Drawing?

How should I dimension threads in a Drawing? The only option I found now is by manually typing e.g. M8 x 1.0. Is there no option that automatically takes the thread that was dimensioned in the Model?

I have added a screen shot of the result I would like to obtain. I have now added this dimension using the Leader function.
