How to delete (modify) existing fillets

Hi! How could I delete these fillets as long as faces are merged? Actually, I need to modify them in the model I've downloaded and thought I could delete them and then set the fillets I'd like but it can't be done. (see the model attached)

The surface that you have highlighted with the "fillets" is one contiguous NURBS surface with one seam.

Technically speaking there are no fillets on that surface, as a fillet is a separate NURBS surface patch. 

 

you can probably re-create a new object based on hat geometry and I'd be happy to show you how in case you are interested.

This is a lot more complicated than just removing fillets, but the result is an editable keycap with much-improved geometry. Won't matter too much for a 3D print, but I have my standards 😉
