how to delete a dimension

can someone tell me how to delete a dimension constraint in a sketch?

Click on it and press the delete button, or right click on it and elect delete.

Edit Sketch, 

Click on the dimension, press Delete key.

There is a Delete button in the Right Click menu, as well.

sorry that was a senior moment. OK i forgot that i had to select "edit sketch" first.
