I have done this before.   Simply select component, ctrl c then move to the new design and select paste new or just paste.

WTF now my destination file is a f3z no f3d file.

I am lost again.

Trying to copy TRIMACHINE:1 From Rear Tri Spring to Ti Plate Layout

Doesn't seem to copy anything.

okay you need to select highlight the component above the one you want to copy..

But now I only have the option of paste new....and I want the components to update

Your design Ti Plate Layout is set to assembly so you can't create internal components.

You need to set it to hybrid if you want internal and\or external components.

You can set Fusion to work pretty much as it used to with these settings.
