How to add this feature to the helmet Im working on....stuck...thanks!

Ok so Im trying to push myself from the normal push/pull/extrude cut a hole out type of designing (Dont get me wrong I love Parametric Design but it doesnt always work for everything lol).

Im designing this Old School Shredder helmet (pic1) and Ive done the cap part but Im having a hard time how Id add the upside down "T" part on it (pic 2). Ive watch a ton of videos but nothing really seem related to what I want to do..
Any help would be great thanks!

File>Export and then Attach your *.f3d file here.

How much experience do you have?

Think about it for a moment.

Q1. Why, oh why are you using Fusion 360.

A1. Because words and static images alone do not convey the information richness of the Design Intent that in included in a 3D model of the geometry.

Q2. What information have you attached?

A2. Mere images and words.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, the 3D geometry file might be worth 1000 pictures.

Love the style of your post but honestly have no clue what your saying...it not like my picture and words didnt explain what I wanted.
Why am I using Fusion because it the first CAD Program Ive ever used and dont know any better...lol
Im pretty experience when it comes to parametric design, but not so much in organic/form designing.
Also there was no option for f3d so Ive added the fusion archive .fdz (new format maybe?)

I prefer to use 3D geometry to describe, well, 3D geometry - so I will bow out after this response.

Do you see a *.fdz file Attached here?  (Required when you have external links.)

You should always proof read your responses to check.

Another way to to share a link...

Freeform modeling is a bit complex topic to cover without actual 3D model(s).
