How do you smooth out curved splines?

Hi everyone,

I've been using spline fairly quite alot lately and was wondering how do you make the curved and sharp turns a lot smoother?  I've attached my screencast to show what I mean.  Thank-you,

In general, the fewer points you use in your spline, the smoother it will be.  Other than that, using the tangent handles (dragging them to be longer) will help.  Sometimes just moving fit points around can also help.  Turn on curvature comb display can help visually show what the curvature is along your curve.  Here is a generic video showing some of the techniques:
