How do you combine the objects of a Pattern into ONE body? Is this not possible?

Suppose I have a simple cube, say 1x1x1mm. The z axis (up down) is right in the middle of one of the faces so I use Circular Pattern to Full revolve it around that axis, 2 copies in the pattern, to create what is now a 1x2x1mm rectangle prism. The thing is, fusion recognizes this as two bodies. I need to combine this as one so that I can slice it properly as an STL. Ive looked everywhere and there is no answer.

In the Model (Solid) workspace choose Modify->Combine/Join.

Pretty easy to find, if you ask me 😉

That's basically what I tell my wife when I've lost something, spent an hour looking for it, ask her about it, and then she finds it in six seconds with a look of "my husband is a moron" on her face.

Hmmmmm.  If the pattern type is Components, then they cannot be joined.  If the pattern type is Bodies, they can.

p.s. A single STL can be created from separate bodies by selecting their parent component(s).

I would, if there actually would be a file attached 😉

Don't use email replies to attach things. You have to use the web interface to do so.

Okay. I will try it in the video below. Honestly I suspect you have just forgotten to take your medication.

File >Export and then Attach your *.f3d file here and then I will demonstrate how to Combine.

@TheCADWhisperer  he said it's impossible, so I show him a video of me doing it, and he doesn't respond for a week.
