How do you add anchor points to a line? I read earlier how you do this with splines but I can’t figure out how to do it with lines that are not splines. It seems like something the Point tool would do but doesn’t seem to.

Hi @Anonymous,

Can you explain a bit more about what you want to do?  I'm not sure what an "anchor point" for a line would be, since a line is just between two points.  Are you just looking to put a point on an existing line?  If so, the Point tool will do that.  If you are looking to "break" the line, then you need to add some trimming lines.  Here is a screencast showing both of these.

Thank you for your reply and video. The second option is what I wanted. I suppose there is no way to do this without having to draw a second line through the first line and break it? If not, I think it would be a nice feature to have – I guess I’m too used to 2D vector drawing programs.
