How do I make it more cylindrical

I'm trying to make a foam plane design but I'm very new to cad and I don't know how to create things so I need help trying to make it a more round and less square.

Loft, not Extrudes.

For sections along the body you need some rounded sketches to help create the shape.

You will need the Project > Intersect sketch command, 

 

then Loft those curved sections with top and side “Rails”

Unfortunately, this is a statement that can be interpreted in many ways but does not give any indication of where, for example, fillets should be created.

I think the OP should start with the very first tutorials from Product Design Online. 

Too many people, skip developing proper sketching skills and move right to creating 3D geometry, just to find out that they have to start from scratch, because their sketches  are inadequate. 

I can already see that in the screenshot the OP provided, without actually having to see the sketch.
