How do I make a exploded view drawing

Hey! 

I'm having troubles creating a drawing of my exploded view of my 3d model, I have explored the function animation so i have made my manual explosion, but i don't know how to take it from here to the drawing-part. All kind of help is much appreciated 🙂

According to their roadmap, you cannot do this now, but will be in November update.

Yes, the feature "create drawing from exploded views" is planned for November release, which is coming out soon. Before it goes out, the only workaround is manually moving the components in Model workspace, and then create drawing from design. Hope it helps.

@Anonymous - Yep, this is coming as a part of the November release. Once that release is available, you'll be able to select "Create Drawing" > "From Animation" from the File Menu dropdown and it will spin off a view in the Drawings workspace of that Storyboard for you to use. Out of curiosity, why are you creating exploded views for drawings? Are you trying to create a patent drawing?

Hey. I found a way to do it. Simply by: -> moving every single component in my design -> save it -> rightclick in the datapanel and choose "New drawing from design". The design will now import to the drawing as it was moved in the design. It helped me out as the design wasn't that complex.
