How do I do a loft revolve?

How do I do this loft operation? It's like a revolve operation, but it follows the border shown in blue. It's a contoured faceplate for a consumer product.

Could you share the design ?

I am no loft expert and still recovering from the last brutal battle with it (not sure yet who won), but you'll need to break this into profiles and rails and have to experiment with it.
It'll take some nerves 😉

I am assuming you want the loft to adhere to the flat-on-the -floor spline that in your screenshot is not selected as a profile ?

I think all you need to do is to select that curve as a rail curve.  It should not be a "centerline" rail, but a "regular" rail curve.

If that's not obvious, I can create a quick screencast with similar geometry.
