How do I copy sketch entities? from one sketch to a new sketch

I know how to do it in solidworks. I'd create a new sketch in the same plane or a parallel plane. unhide previous sketch, select lines I want to copy. Copy and paste sketch entities in new sketch.

I want to extrude the scalloped shape. (3rd attachment)

Is there a way to import an SVG in layers? That way I could hide everything but the scalloped shape and extrude that.

edit: I was able to select the scalloped edge, 32 clicks... but then I went to extrude it .. I only know how to begin with the extrude feature and then select the entities.

There are several ways to do this in Fusion.  You should be able to do exactly as you describe in Solidworks:  Start a new sketch, copy the sketch items you want in the new sketch, and paste.  Second, if you want them to be associative to the originals, and you don't need to edit them, then you can Project the curves into the new sketch.

But, if all you want to do is extrude more areas, you can mark items as Construction.  Then, you can extrude with fewer selections.

If any of this is not clear, I can provide a screencast.

You can either Project each arc or Project one arc, then use a circular array to complete the geometry.

When you say project each arc, you mean copying the arcs in sketch 1 and pasting in sketch 2?
Thanks

I would like a screencast, whenever you have the time to make one, im not in a rush.

I find it difficult to know if I'm in a sketch, so I look forward to your screencast.

Thank you.
