I have a learning disability called computers.....

Would someone please walk me through installing the 80/20 tool catalogue on my system, we use it here and it really needs to be availible.

Thanks,

@Anonymous,

Are you looking for a catalog of everything 80/20 has to offer or the profiles to extrude to length?  From there site you can download their .dxf  2D profiles and then upload them to your project.  Next you can extrude the profile to length and save it as a component.  They also have 3D Inventor files, you can download them from their site and then upload them to your project.

Hello @Anonymous,

You mention a "tool box", I assume that you are referencing a product that our friends offer.  Fusion does not have a automated way to add the complete catalog of 80/20.  The workflow that I talked about where you download the catalog from the site and then upload it to A360 is my recommendation for a solution.

Cheers,

@Anonymous,

My coworker reminded me that the 80/20 catalog is a part of CADNAS catalog under our parts4cad insert.  Below are some screenshots on how to access what you are looking for.

Hi Prom,

I have found the 80/20 site, but I don't see how to actually make the download and install in F360 work. any chance you can walk me thru the steps?

Thanks, Andrew

Click the insert tab

Click the Parts4CAD option

On the website click 80/20

Click the category that you want

Click the subcatagory that you want

Click the part you want

Configure the part in the options menu

Fill out the box above send to fusion on the right side if applicable

Click send to fusion.

Unfortunatly this is done on a part by part basis like if you were inserting a McMaster Carr part. At this time there is no catalog to download and host locally for Fusion.

This no longer works (Nov 2021).

What is the correct way now?
