How do I add 2 different properties on one component and then test them?

I have a few questions here which I was trying out for the past few days. I hope a few people can share their ideas on how they would do it. This is a project on surgical implants.
1. Sometimes we use lattice structures (microscopic ones). I may be wrong, but I think you can't design microscopic lattice structures or have a gradient effect of bulk to lattice on Fusion 360. But without a gradient effect and just by using the properties of lattice and bulk, how do I add 2 properties on one component? Please see figure 1: The one in blue to have properties of lattice structures. I tried by separating the bodies and adding each as custom materials (with desired properties) and then combining them. But it failed. It becomes as 1 body with one property.
2. How can I perform simulation on lattice structures? I tried creating microscopic lattice structure on Netfabb Ultimate and saved it as .STL. But i am not able to upload into Fusion 360 (Software hangs). Even if i load a bigger lattice, it may not be upload into the simulation.
3. How would you test the design in the figure 1? -The 2 holes for screws, behind it is the flat part where it is placed on the bone and screwed onto. The overhang is where the load is - 500N.
