How can I turn organic mesh into a solid?

Hi,

I'm still new to fusion and couldn't find a way nor an explanatory video/article to my question.

I have downloaded this stl file from thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3690974). It is a cow head similar to low poly objects except that the surfaces have been removed, giving an organic mesh type appearance.

I would much prefer a simple low poly head but can't figure out how to fill the head. I had a look at the stitching and patching commands but they don't seem to work as the structure is made up of several triangles which do not result in closed boundaries.

Thanks for any help!

I am not entirely sure what you are looking for in terms of an end result.

If you need a low-poly model, then the mesh at hand is useless and the original mesh edges have been converted into cylindrical shapes, which then were exported as a .stl and in the process of that triangulated.

Reverse-engineering that mesh would be quite a task and I would definitely not attempt that in Fusion 360 but in Blender.

Yes, you got what my intentions were. Shame that there is no easy solution. Thanks for your comment. I guess it saved me a lot of nerves!
