How can I scale an object WITH it's associated sketches?

I have drawn a sketch, and used it as a reference to build my object.  Now I have realized that I do not have the dimensions correct - I need to scale the whole object (dimensions are important in this case, because I plan on using CAM module to output gcode for a CNC machine).

How can I scale my object such that the associated sketch scales with it?

Hi @Anonymous,

Welcome to the Fusion 360 Community!

Do you have an example model that you can share with me? I can give better suggestions that way. Based off of what you are saying though, I think the issue might stem at the sketch level. For instance, let's take a cube as an example. If you create a square sketch, 5 in x 5 in and then extrude that 5 in to create a 5x5x5 cube. To scale this (in a parametric environment at least), you could go back and edit the original square sketch and change the dimensions to be 6x6 for instance and then change the extrusion depth. Now you would have a 6x6x6 in^3 cube. Granted that is two steps instead of one, but it would ensure that your sketch stays in the correct reference position for the extrude.

With your model, I should be able to give better advice however!

Thanks,
