How can I offset surfaces? | Offset faces and offset surfaces failed to generate

This composite part mold was designed with zero offset between the mating surfaces of the components. How can I offset the mating surfaces .002-.004" for fitment and maintain the surface geometry?

I have tried offset faces, but not all of the mating surfaces between the different parts was able to be successfully generated. I tried a surface offset of -0.002, but a sharp offset fails to generate and the rounded offset removes surfaces as shown below.

If you remove all or most of the fillet and chamfers, offsetting works fine.
