AFter a pattern operation there is a group left over that is empty.  When I try to delete it it says "some selected object is read only and can not be deleted".

Are we just stuck with these empty groups?

I noticed I can drag and drop the empty groups into the newly created group, which helps with housekeeping ... do you forsee any problem with doing that?

Hi Dave,

Can you please confirm that your asking about Tool Paths inside of Fusion 360? (If not let me know which product you're working with)

I'll then redirect your question over to the correct forum, however, I wanted to be sure first.

Please let me know,

Thanks,

Yes, fusion 360.

For more info see attached.  I started out with a 1x1x0.2 block, then created a pattern of three, then a pattern of three more from the three.  If you look in the browser there is now a group called "R-Pattern1 Group" that is empty (highlighted), and I can not delete it.

Thanks for posting this.

It's a known limitation that many users have requested we fix. I don't have an ETA but it's definitely on our roadmap.

Regards,

Phil
