Hole w/in bounds wont patch. Tags, Errors, Msgs in my way. Copy. Paste?

I cannot PATCH the BOUNDED HOLE (SEPARATED BODY)  of 2mm THICKNESS. Please advise.

Can one CREATE in FORM, then bring the FORM into SOLID, SURFACE or otherwise, then return it as a MODEL to RE-WORK in FORM?  Possible? or Alchemy?

Can't always see the WORKSPACE through the stuff (MENUES< WARNINGS< TAGS etc). How to personalize to designated or preferred area on screen?

*Will follow up on ACCEPTING most of the Forum Expert SOLUTIONS to my previous QUESTION. Thanks for the Advise. As I am no stranger to Forums, navigating the SNARK infested forums over time will invariably raise one up from the bottom. Anything fishy about them. I just throw em back.

unclear on what the question is.   can you elaborate? 

here is a separated body from your file that has a hole in it that can be patched.  so maybe you're talking about something else?

It works only in very limited circumstances.

Please explain what exactly you want to do, what your expectations of the patch tool are, and how they fail.
