History tree help,,

Very new here. Can a SLDPRT file be uploaded with the history tree for that model being imported? I get the model but no tree. and need the tree, Is this just not going to work with fusion? or am i going about it the wrong way?  solidworks file to fusion

This is just not going to work for any solid modelling programs. Even between Inventor and Fusion it will never work because you only need one feature that's not supported and it will fail. The SLDPRT file contains a solid similar to a STEP file and that's all that's imported.

Hi,

If you want to have the history in the further course, you have to activate it manually (right-click browser), because it is deactivated with every import of foreign formats.

You do however have feature recognition, which you can use to manipulate solid geometry.

'M' with the part picker set to face, and 'Q' have pretty good functionality when it comes to making edits to your solid parts.
