Hinge with revolve joint splits when I install 2nd hinge . I sorted it out. No issue

I have a hinge, STEP import from Mcmaster carr. In the Hinge document I converted bodies to components and placed a revolve joint. This hinge is face mounting. In the door frame and door I have created the proper spaced holes. I imported the first hinge Created a rigid joint between the fixed portion of the hinge and the frame. As well I created a rigid joint using as built between the door and the revolve part of the hinge. I tested with motion and all is good. When I go to put the second hinge in and select the screw hole and try to joint with the frame ONLY the fixed part of the hinge moves to the joint in the frame, not the whole hinge. Why? this seems to ignore the revolve joint in the hinge. This is annoying because I like to see the hinge assembly  holes line up with the door holes. This happens with importing the part again or copy paste. I don't want to just move stuff around and assume it all fits and aligns. Any ideas why it won't let me align the entire hinge assembly like it did when I put the first hinge in?

Thank You

Brad

The best idea would be to attach your file to the thread (File/Export/Archive file *.f3d).  It is difficult to debug issues with text or images only.

Thank you. It's fine as soon as I clicked ok the rest of the component jumped into place.

If I could figure out how to delete this post I would.

Thank You

Can’t delete them, but marked your fix as accepted solution for others to see how to fix it, not the first time this has come up.
