Hi,
One thing I cant seem to figure out is if there is a function to do as my topic suggests? If I do some changes to my design and that includes hiding some components to maybe replace them with another version. When I get in to drawing mode, (if I choose to make the drawing from full assembly) every component and body is "activated" and visible so, I need to dig around and hide all the components and bodys I don't want in the drawing.
If it's a small assembly, it's ok just to select the parts I want in the drawing from the beginning but when the assembly is a bit bigger, I would like to be able to completely deactivate a body or component so it act like it was removed or deleted. I don't want to delete it because I want to be able to add it back later and maybe some other body has information linked to that body. (if I create a sketch on a body face or align to a components, it results in errors when a body later gets removed i believe).
Is there a way to hide a component or body so that it is still hidden when creating a drawing and keeps hidden until I manually un-hide it again? I tried "Selectable/Unselectable" since I don't really tried that function before, but that wasn't it. (Off Topic: what is that? I could still select and show and hide a component while it was set as unselectable.)
