Help with spoil board surfacing

We are having a lot of issues on our machine just doing what should be a simple task - surfacing the spoil board. I initially tried a 2d Face tool path, but couldn't get that to work as it kept triggering the limit switched on my machine, no matter what I tried to do. So instead I switched to a 2d pocket tool path, that removes 0.02 off of the surface. The problem is, it leaves about a 0.2'' line of material on the entire surface and edges, So I end up having to move the zero position over and run the same thing 3 or 4 times to get a somewhat useable spoil board (you can see the line in the photo) Having to do this on both sides of the spoil board is very time consuming and removes way too much material from the spoilboard to make this feasible. Any guidance someone could give would be very much appreciated. The f3d file will be attached. IMG-20210904-WA0000.jpg

If your stock is larger than the machine limits, (no matter if 10 mm or 100 mm,)

you are doing what needs doing.

@davebYYPCU The stock is the correct size, the problem is when the routine starts, the cnc for some reason moves tries to move further than the stock to begin the tool path and trips the limit switch

On the presumption you can move the machine to 0,0  and 48, 48

Measure the distance between limit switch, and the spindle,

If you trip the limit switch it has to be moved.

Change the WCS to the center and 2D Pocket, 2D Adaptive, or 3D Adaptive should work fine.

I do not presume to know what @etfrench did but I think my method will get you what you desire.  Please note my settings as I go along and change them to suit your needs.  Model is attached.

That's all you need to select.  Examine the toolpath by creating a new 3d adaptive toolpath, then use the Compare and Edit function to see what settings are different between yours and the one I posted.  By the way, changing the WCS to the center point is the key to making it work on any of the three different toolpath types.  One of the nice things about using the 3d adaptive toolpath is you can select whether the tool will stay within the selected border, machine to the middle of the border, or outside the border.
