Help with Fusion "Create Component"

Used to have the option to create a "component" with in the file I was working on. That no longer appears under that in this latest version of Fusion360. It's either been renamed or removed as an option. I also HATE everytime I create a new design I get this stupid wizard which I don't understand what any of the options are and just want the user friendlyness of the earlier versions.  PLEASE HELP

Hi,

For a better understanding, you should familiarize yourself with the new principle of intent driven design.

In this context, the “hybrid” variant is your friend, which also corresponds to the previous approach.

That I believe will require repeating with each model. If you want to boot in the Hybrid mode goto top right tool bar, left click initials>Preferences>General>Default Design Type - select Hybrid click OK

The problem is that in the free version it is not possible to create a component from scratch. I need to build a body to convert it to a component what changes design flow.

As far I used to create a component and worked on this until I need a new component. Than I created one. Now this is not possible anymore.

So my question: is it possible to create a component and start on this in the hybrid design work flow?

Thanks to all.

As you can see, from the attached screen capture, you can create a New Component when in Hybrid Mode with a Fusion Personal License.
