Help Splitting STL for Multicolor Printing

Hello!

I am trying to find a way to split certain parts of an STL model so I can print them in different colors. I can do this with MeshMixer, but I can't find a way to do this when the area has an empty spot in the middle of it. For example, a circle or a zero "0".

Is this possible with Fusion 360 somehow or does anyone have a recommendation?

Thanks!

Haven't been able to figure this out still and thought I would post back.

I'm not sure Fusion 360 is the best product for this, but thought it may have the capability.

You may get more responses if you attach your file.

Okay, here is the file.

I am trying to split the number 50 from the rest and make it into separate bodies. I know this is a simple model, but I will be doing more complex stuff in the future and the same method should apply for future projects.

Here's how to do it for this stl:

You would probably get a better looking model by creating this directly in Fusion 360.

For more complex models, the mesh tools located on the Sketch menu would work better.  There is a limit on how many facets can be converted to Breps.
