Hi.
I'm sketching a pedal plate and I'm not sure how to create slots that are oblong. I've sketched some rectangles but they all need to have oblong ends. I want to save and export this as an .dxf file or .step for cnc milling.
I've uploaded my sketch. Any step by step instructions will be greatly appreciated.
I wonder why you do not use the Slot command in the Sketch environment.

Now that you know about the Slot command, you need to try it out. You say you would use the end to end slot so why not try it out on your sketch. In the future I would use the center to center slot as it makes much more sense.

Use rectangular pattern. If the gaps in the pattern fall where on a space where there would otherwise be an item in the pattern, use the Suppress option to remove those items.
