Help in fixing round sharp hat on tank track

Hi first post here 😄

i am not sure in what category i have to put this

 

i need some help to fix/make that  sharp rounded hat on the guiding teeth of my tank track

 

i have no idea how you call this operation so i can'T find help
but i tried  a sweep  it kind of wanted to work but then go all over the place

Ok, create another arc.

and use loft. profiles woul be the two arcs and the rail the arc on the middle. Maybe you make a sketch in the solid part and make the arc. I used a surface,  you can creat another surface to complete the part or make a mirror, use stitch and combine the solids.

thx another question following this how do i turn the purple line into a sketch line ? 

or (how to turn any edge into line without simple projection?)
i mean by that when i create a new sketch on any bodies there no real line and sometime make thing unselectable like now

You could break the link of that projection. (right click)

then line will change of color and you can edit it

Purple lines are sketch lines.

 

You will need Project tools in Fusion working without them makes life difficult.

Project on reference and other auto project tools are in the Preferences.

 

Solid Tools need blue shaded profiles, 

Surface tools work with curves.
