Help for Fusion 360 Drawing Problem

I can only see the hidden lines of my part when I bring the scale of the object much bigger (such that it exceeds the page). Is there a way to adjust the scale of the hidden lines so that they are visible when my object is at an appropriate scale?

Thank you,

Daniel

I don't believe there is an option available to adjust the weight or the scale (line type or line weight) of the hidden lines today in Fusion 360. This is definitely something that is on the roadmap.

You should vote up any similar ideas in the Fusion 360 Ideastation. This will help to increase the priority of implementing these features.

There's a recent blog post of the roadmap for drawings that may be interesting.

For now, perhaps you could use a detail view in the drawing to highlight the detail you need to see more clearly?

I hope this helps!

Hi Daniel,
Can you provide some more information on your system and drawing:
Mac or Windows? Which OS version?
ASME or ISO drawing?
What is the length of the hidden line segments which are not appearing?

We don't have a line type scale setting but if the line segments are longer (say 1/2" or more) and the dash in the hidden line isn't showing, it sounds like a bug.

Thanks,
Chris

Hi, below is the picture of the problem. These lines should hidden and they are for 1/2" holes. As can be seen in the hidden lines above, I believe they are too long to appear where they should be below which can lead to misinterpretation of the drawing. Lastly, this is an ASME drawing.

Hi Daniel,

The attachment didn't work.  Would it be possible for you to share or send me the drawing/design?  From the data panel, click the "i" for the drawing > Open Details On Web then in the upper right corner, click the down arrow "Export" button > Fusion 360 Archive.  Please send to christopher.miller@autodesk.com so I can take a look.

Thanks,
Chris
