Help - Designing a ribbon cable

Hello!

I am writing to know if it is possible in Fusion 360 to design a ribbon connector. Specifically, I am trying to create a connector that follows a curved path that starts on a plane and ends on another (begins on the XY plane and arrives on the XZ plane). I was trying to realize it with loft, designing two rails with the spline tool, but it seems almost impossible to realize two parallel splines that maintain the correct shape of the cable.

So I was wondering if the loft is the way, if there is an entirely different system to realize it, or if it not possible.

Thank you for your help!

I would probably use Sweep, but both techniques should work.

File>Export and then Attach your *.f3d file here for demonstration of both techniques.

Hi,

Thanks for your suggestions.

Actually I found a good way to do it with Sweep. Instead of using the single path type, I used the path + guide rail type.

Best,

Giuseppe
