Help adding a texture

I am trying to add a pineapple like cross hatch texture to the top portion of the attached file.  I have watched the you tube videos but cannot figure it out.  Can someone help please? I am adding a picture of final part needs to look like, it does not have to be exact.  If you can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

I have been using fusion for about a week now just can't figure this out.

a possible approach.

you'll not I turned the time line on.  I also repositioned the sketch to the origin to take advantage of the origin planes.  the revolve line wasn't perpendicular to the model axis, so i fixed that also.

Wow, this looks fantastic!  Thank for the help.  I will review the timeline to see if I can now create it myself.

Thanks again, I have been trying to do this for days, lol and was getting frustrated.  I see now it's always better to ask for help.

This looks great, I have one question, is it possible to cut the pipe into the body so that the diamond shapes appear to be raised instead of the pipes.  I tried to do the cut command on the pipe but received 4errors?

Thank you
