  • Good day everyone,

I hope someone can help me in deciding which one of the two laptops will be the best to use for fusion 360. Unfortunately my buget is limited and I can only choose one of the two.

Im really new to this all so dont even know if any one of the two will run fusion 360 sufficiently.

Hi,

In my experience most modern laptops will run Fusion. I would pick the one I am comfortable with using.

My personal preference would be one with a bigger screen, and I would get plenty of on board storage space.

Memory is cheap so upgrade the memory asap afterwards. It will help the laptop to run faster with less hdd swaps.

On looking at the specs, the one with the NVidia 3070 would probably be better over the onboard graphics. Fusion

is about modeling so you want graphics functionality.

Cheers

be very careful with your choice of graphics equipment. Unfortunately, my graphics driver is causing display problems. OK mine is not the newest but in my experience, the graphics driver will become your problem if you don't stick to Fusion's recommended specs, and probably sooner than you'd like.

also can I ask - where did your choice fall?  Any pros and cons that you can share? Thanks!
