So, I've been wrestling with this model for a while. I need to add 6 projections outward from the bottom flange plane, outlined with the radial lines from center. I have tried trimming the lines, so as to get rid of the internal segments, which doesn't seem to work, and my ultimate goal is to project the surface surrounding each of the six holes. The only plane selection I can make happen is the entire bottom plane. I also don't seem to have any indication of a vertex or intersection at the ID with the 12 lines marking these segments. That seems to indicate to me that these lines are either not intersecting, or that I am missing some command sequence somewhere, or that the software has a problem of unknown nature.
See attached screen shot. This is essentially a flanged cup with 6 mounting holes, and intended castellated teeth at the mounting hole locations as indicated. There are a couple of construction planes in the screenshot, one of which I was trying to employ as the projection boundary, offset from the bottom surface. That also seemed to not work as I would have thought. I'm stumped.
Thanks
Matt
