howdy friends. i could use some advice.
for many years www.sdp-si.com had cad models of all their sprockets. which means i have never had to learn how to actually model the profile. well, that ship has sailed. they are gone. the whole place has been cleared out. absolute disaster. no longer can i simply stand on the shoulders of the man and eat of the highest and tastiest fruits of his labors.
have to do this my dang self.
do any of you have experience designing with the gt2 belt profile? i can find decent info on the belt which has not been super useful as the profile distorts dramatically as it wraps around the sprocket. cannot find any info on the sprockets themselves. other than everyone calls them pulleys. which keeps p*ss*ng me off but is neither here nor there.
i would prefer to learn how to do it myself but am just as happy if you know of another site from which to download cad models. pride isn't super important to me; just synchronized motion.
