Grid Position

The grid appears asymetrically relative to the origin and the bodies/components in my model.  Any ideas?

Have you tried the "Adaptive" in the Grid Setting

I'll try that suggestion.  If I "tilt" the view just a degree off of a true normal view the grid fills in completely but if I select an ordinate face on the view cube the grid is truncate as shown in my screen shot.

"Adaptive" was already selected for my grid settings.

Strange, I tried to replicate and can't find out what is the issue. last resort may be a full intall 😞
