These files were saved as ACIS v22.
Autodesk products only read up to ACIS v7.
Can you ask the SolidWorks user to select Options when saving and set to ACIS v7.
ACIS (*.sat) is a proprietary file format. It would be better if your source could supply you with a neutral file format like STEP (*.stp).
For more information on ACIS and Autodesk history - include the keywords Autodesk Shape Manager, Spatial and Dassault.
Revit is an Autodesk product 😉
