Fusion to Solidworks

Hi,

I am hoping to edit a Fusion 360 assembly in Solidworks. I imported the assembly as a STEP file. While I am able to pull up the assembly, I am unable to move any of the components. Do I need to import all of the individual component files? Or is there a quicker way to go about this? The components all have pretty simple geometries. I don't have much experience with Solidworks so any help is much appreciated.

Thank you!

Did it open as Assembly in SolidWorks or did it open as multi-body solids?

Component Joints (you did create Components, right?) do not translate. You will have to add assembly Constraints in SolidWorks.
Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Are the components Fixed (f) in SolidWorks?

Yes, thanks for the help, I appreciate it. The file originally opened up as an assembly with (f) fixed components. However I ended up doing the longer method and individually downloading each component as a Solidworks part file and reassembling the design instead of looking for a shortcut because I was a bit short on time.
