Fusion makes working with spherical and cylindrical faces rather difficult

I have a bunch of these buttons
I am trying to position these buttons so that their spherical face is tangent to a face on a part. That can be achieved easily through a tangent relationship. However, there doesn't seem to be a way then to locate these buttons a certain distance from the edges of that face using assembly operations, the issue perhaps stemming from the inability to have a snap point at the tip of that spherical face. I looked into constructs as a solution, however even constructs don't support locating anything on a spherical face (I would have thought there would at least be a way to locate a point tangent to a spherical face at an edge, but there isn't.). So that leaves using sketches with intersects to locate points to attach construction points to and then using sketches to locate the part then using as-built joints. However, this solution is rather hacky, requires editing the part if the part is linked and I find sketches to be odd to use in an assembly workflow.
Assembly with cylindrical faces isn't very easy either. I have a part that has a cylindrical body and I want to position that cylinder a distance from the face of another part while being able to also locate the part on the 2 other axes. That just seems flat out impossible to do without resorting to using sketches.
Is using sketches the intended workflow for this? Am I missing out on anything? How can I achieve what I want?
