Fusion in Browser question: STEP file import possible?

Hi,

When using Fusion in the browser, is it possible to import a STEP file into a new or existing Fusion Design (parametric modeling environment)?  

Currently, if I upload a STEP file into a project using Fusion Team, it is assigned type "CAD File" and the "Edit in Browser" option is not available. Am I missing something?

Hi Fred

Unfortunately Fusion Team does not have options to create a Fusion Design from uploaded files, such as STEP. This has to be done inside the Data Panel in Fusion 360 Desktop.

I am not sure if/when this option might become available in Fusion Team.

Hi Jason,

Thanks for the reply.  It is unfortunate that this option isn't a planned feature as I think it could be quite useful for users wanting to import their previous work.  If there is a feature request list for Fusion in a browser, please add this to it.
