Fusion impossible to use due to Lag

So all of a sudden I load up a design that is all sketches, a floor plan for a possible renovation to my shop. I wanted to change some things and I cannot do anything with it, when I click a line to delete or offset a line it lags out goes non responsibe, sometimes comes back., This is at home on my pretty decent computer that has never had issues before. I am not sure whats going on but I need to get this sorted out asap. Its clearly the drawing as I can create a brand new drawing and sketches but anything in the floor plan file is messed up. If is corrupted or something? File attached.

Expected behaviour.

No body has recommended large complicated sketches, and the outline text, will be a big component of the problem.

Would suggest, breaking the sketches into various layers style, that can be turned on and off, as required.  Ala the walls are in separate sketch,

with sketch 2 turned off, sketch 1 will likely return an improved performance.

Might help...

Hey there @kmcgheeCMFPG

May I ask your computer specifications?

Also have you tried the "limit effects to optimize performance" In the help menu>graphics diagnostics ? This has worked wonders for me.

Hope this helps!

@Anonymous this is not an issue with computer specs, or graphics. It is simply that one of the sketch shall too many sketch elements, mostly text.

Fusion 360 does not deal well with many sketch elements in a single sketch and also the concept of sketch blocks does not exist.

As such a 2D CAD software is better suited for such things.

If it has to be Fusiosn 360 I would actually create individual components with sketches for each of the different pieces of equipment and one master sketch with the general empty floor plan.

That would be somewhat similar to using sketch blocks and will keep things speedy and fuel.

Ok well this explains it since there was no issues until I exploded all the text. I will make the changes to multiple layers then. I could use my old software but Fusion is preferred at this point.

My computer specs are:

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700 CPU @ 3.40GHz

16 GB Ram @2133mhz

Nvidia Geforce GTX960 w/6034MB memory (according to system info its 6034, but according to Fusion in the graphics diagnostics its 2048 not sure whats what.)

And I have the limit effects always checked.
